CIDKP Central is organizing capacity building programs for district and township staff with the purpose of strengthening their knowledge, skills, and confidence to serve communities more effectively. The initiative is designed to ensure that staff can deliver quality services to the public, engage meaningfully with communities, empower local leaders and villagers, and provide inclusive and effective training at the village level. By focusing on district authorities, township authorities, and field operation staff, CIDKP aims to build a stronger foundation for community empowerment and resilience. This effort will help staff improve their ability to manage activities, foster participation, and create sustainable processes that strengthen collaboration between community leaders, villagers, and local authorities.

The Central HR Manager emphasized that when field staff provide training to civilians, it must be effective and grounded in strong facilitation skills. Staff should also be able to understand the full process of project cycle management, as working with donors and managing projects requires careful step-by-step adherence to contracts and policies. Therefore, it is essential that those delivering activities are clear, competent, and focused on the needs of beneficiaries. To achieve this, CIDKP has been providing capacity building programs to district and township staff, aiming to strengthen organizational unity and ensure that future activities are carried out with professionalism, accountability, and a strong commitment to community empowerment.

CIDKP Central has been providing specialized capacity building trainings such as the Training of Facilitator Skills (TFS) and Project Cycle Management (PCM). These four-day programs are delivered to staff two only district, Hpa An, and Doo Pla Ya within 2025 with more than 40 participants attending.

CIDKP Central has targeted every district to benefit from this capacity building program. However, due to challenges in organizing the training, particularly with funding and transportation, not all districts were able to participate this year. As a result, the remaining districts will be scheduled to receive the program in 2026. This phased approach ensures that despite logistical difficulties, all district and township staff will eventually gain access to the training, strengthening their skills, knowledge, and ability to engage effectively with

The trainings will conducted in different areas within each brigade, ensuring that district and township staff, as well as field teams, gain practical knowledge and facilitation skills. Through these sessions, CIDKP aims to strengthen staff capacity in managing projects, engaging effectively with communities, and delivering activities that empower local leaders and villagers.
